بیوگرافی

سيامك ستوده در تهران متولد و در 1347 تحصيلات اش‏ را در رشته اقتصاد در دانشگاه ملى به پايان رساند. در 1352 بجرم فعاليتهاى سياسى توسط رژيم شاه دستگير و پس‏ از شكنجه هاى فراوان محكوم به ده سال زندان شد. پس‏ از آزادى در جريان انقلاب 1357 بلافاصله به مبارزه بر عليه جمهورى اسلامى پرداخت . سرانجام در 1361 مجبور به ترك كشور و اقامت در خارج شد. 
كتاب تروريسم اسلامى از جمله اولين كتابهاى منتشره وى در خارج از كشور ميباشد كه بدنبال استقبال خوانندگان اكنون چاپ دوم و ترجمه انگيسى آن در دسترس‏ شما قرار ميگيرد. اين كتاب انگيزه ها و اهداف واقعى جنبش‏ هاى اسلامى را به   وجه روشن و دقيقى   توضيح ميدهد. همچنين علت عروج جنبش‏ هاى اسلامى در دهه هاى اخير و  چگونگى قدرت گيرى آنها در ايران و افغانستان با تكيه به اسناد و مدارك دقيق و تاريخى مورد بررسى قرار ميدهد. يكى از نكات جالب كتاب اين است كه نويسنده با مدارك دقيق و روشن نشان ميدهد كه جنبش‏ اسلامى  در دو كشور مزبور اساسا نه در مخالفت با امپرياليسم آمريكا و شوروى و حكومتهاى دست نشانده آنه، بلكه در دفاع از مالكيت خصوصى و مخالفت با حق راى زنان بوده است كه شكل ميگيرد.  منجمله در كتاب ميخوانيم:
"رفرم ارضى و آزادى زنان تنها در ايران نبود كه جنبش‏ اسلامى را در زمان شاه در برابر خود برانگيخت. در افغانستان نيز دقيقاهمين اصلاحات موسوم به رفرم هاى شماره 6 و 7 و 8 در آوريل 1978 توسط دولت تركى بود كه جنبش‏ مجاهدين را بر عليه خود بر انگيخت."

 

Biography

Siamac sotudeh was born in Tehran, the capital of Iran. In 1962, when he was still a high school student, he joined the National Front of Iran at the age of 17. Soon, he was in charge of the youth organization in the one of the regions in the capital and later on a member of the Theist-socialist Party, one of the few parties in the National Front. He actively took part in the first bloody uprising against the Shah of Iran in 1963 at the age of 19. In 1964, the Iranian government tried to arrest him, but he escaped. At the same year, after the Theist-Socialist Party was dissolved, he continued to struggle along with the left wing of the party (JAMA), now underground. After the arrest of the leaders of the party and its collapse in 1965, Siamac founded a new underground group with two other members. He led the group, until 1973, when he was arrested.
After a year in jail and following the arrests of many of other members, he was finally discovered as the leader of the group. Hence, being brutally tortured by electric shocks, skin burning, being suspended from the ceiling, whipped and kept for 15 months in the solitary cell, he was sentenced to 10 years in jail . After 5 years in jail, he was finally released in 1979 revolution along with the thousands of other political prisoners before khomeini toke power. Soon, after his release, he went again underground to reorganize what had been left from his group since 1973 blows. He took part in 1979 revolution, which toppled the Shah and brought Khomeini to power. Knowing the barbaric nature of the new regime, Siamac stayed underground to lead his group for a new fight for another regime change. A few years later, he went to the free zones of Kurdistan. After  staying there for six months, he  returned to capital to continue his struggle against the Islamic regime. In 1983, under the peak of the repression, he finally was forced to leave the country. Since then, he has been abroad writing and publishing books and and having talk shows on Iranian satellite TVs. His most recent work “untold history of Islam” is published in Persian.
